NineDays was formed on Long Island by singer/songwriter/guitarists John Hampson and Brian Desveaux, who had previously played together and apart in a series of local groups.
They soon had major label interest and their major label debut, The Madding Crowd in 2000, won the band both critical and commercial acclaim. Due to the phenomenal success of the #1 single “Absolutely” (Story of a Girl), the album went gold, making the world stand up and take notice of this band from Long Island. Several excellent releases soon followed, world tours, MTV appearances on TRL and Spring Break, and videos. This band is still a viable act playing large events and top notch venues and they are always ready to wow any crowd with an amazing energetic performance full of rich vocal harmonies, great lyrics, and a bottom line….great songs!
