Ric had played in bands with the likes of Tony Thompson of Power Station and KC and the Sunshine Band. He was given the moniker of EC junior by the band leader of KC's band, and it has been a running thing throughout his career! Ric has opened for and played on same stage and billing with bands such as George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Al Jarreau, WAR, and Bonnie Raitt!
